Parish Committees
The River Churches Cooperative Parish consists of five United Methodist churches along the Kennebec River:
Cox Memorial UMC, 29 Middle Street, Hallowell;
Dresden/Richmond UMC, 121 Pleasant Street, Richmond;
East Pittston UMC, 1083 East Pittston Road, Pittston ;
Green Street UMC, South Parish Church, 9 Church St., Augusta;
Highland Avenue UMC, 35 Highland Avenue, Gardiner (Randolph UMC has now merged with Highland Avenue)
These churches join together for many events during the year. There are three committees that are composed of members from each church who help do the business of the Parish. To find out what these committees do, click on the following link.
