Purpose of United Women in Faith
United Women in Faith (UWF) is a community of women who believe in the purpose of knowing God, experiencing freedom through Jesus Christ, developing a supportive fellowship, and expanding concepts of mission. UWF works for justice and improves the lives of women, children and youth in the United States and internationally by advocating on various issues and providing compassionate service. UWF also fosters spiritual growth and develops leaders who can inspire, influence and impact local and global communities.

Some activities that UWF members participate in are greeting church members and handing out bulletins on Sunday mornings; providing refreshments for coffee fellowship after church; and taking part in the Parish Christmas Fair at Cox Memorial UMC.
